They are mounted on twist drills  and used either as a depth stop or as a countersink for countersinking the screw head.

Why do we offer 3 and 4 mm countersinks in two outer diameters – 12 mm and 16 mm?

Each material and type of joint requires a different approach. That's why we offer our adjustable countersinks (3 and 4 mm) in two outer diameter versions: 12 mm a 16 mm.

• Smaller outer diameter (12 mm) is ideal for finer work, smaller screws, and hard or decorative woods where minimal material removal and a clean finish are preferred.
• Larger outer diameter (16 mm) is better suited for larger screws, softwood, or situations where material removal is not an issue and a wider countersink is needed to ensure a flush screw fit.

Choosing the right diameter ensures not only a strong and functional joint but also a professional result without unnecessary damage to the surrounding material.
