For drilling in reinforced concrete.
Rebar Cutter VARIANT
The drills are supplied in diameters from 12 to 30 mm.
Method of use:
If you reach reinforced concrete while drilling, stop working with a standard hammer drill immediately to prevent the damage. Vacuum the stone bits from the drilled hole.
Using the VARIANT SDS-plus adapter (ordering No. 2008-1), insert the drill bit into the hammer and continue drilling.
You can get through reinforcement quickly and without much effort. Then remove the drilled piece of fitting from the hole and clean the hole again from the dust and metal chips.
Re-insert the standard concrete drill bit into the hammer and continue working.
Note: Drill the reinforced concrete only after approval by a structural engineer.
Advantages:
This drill will allow to complete drilling even if you come across a fitting while working.
Quickly and reliably drills common building fittings up to a diameter of 10 mm.
Recessed and individually sharpened carbide teeth last a long time.
It speeds up work in reinforced concrete and reduces the consumption of common hammer drill bits, which would be damaged while drilling into the reinforcement.
Designed for: small electropneumatic hammers in the weight category 2 - 4 kg
With what to combine: it is necessary to complete with VARIANT SDS-plus adapters (ordering No. 2008-1). These adapters are universal for all drill bits sizes.
