Compared with SDS-plus, they are suitable for heavier work where a more robust shank system and higher hammer power are required.

Choose SDS-max when working with a larger demolition or combination hammer and carrying out more demanding chiselling, concrete demolition, breaking through masonry or rougher construction work. It is always important to choose the chisel according to your hammer shank system and the type of work.
