Forstner Bits without Teeth
Forstner bits without teeth, DIN 7483 G, are suitable for precise drilling of through holes and blind holes with a flat bottom in natural wood. They are mainly used where you need a clean hole for recessed fittings, creating a counterbore or accurate pre-drilling in a standard wooden workpiece.
When to choose a Forstner bit without teeth
Choose the version without teeth for standard precision drilling in natural wood, especially when working with small to medium hole depths and when you need a clean flat bottom. For smoother drilling of larger diameters or more frequent work, the Saw-Tooth Forstner Bits version may be more suitable.
What you will find in this category
Here you will find Forstner bits without teeth, DIN 7483 G, for wood. The group is intended for precise holes in natural wood, typically for joinery, furniture production and installation work.
Do you drill in hardwood, chipboard or coated boards?
For extremely hard wood, chipboard and coated boards, TCT Boring Bits are more suitable. If you need long through holes, see Installation Bits instead; for repeatable blind holes with the same depth, Boring Bits with Depth Stop may be more suitable.
Specific diameters and further information can be found in the Forstner drill bit group below on the page.
