TCT Boring Bits
TCT boring bits are designed for precise drilling of flat-bottomed holes in hardwood, chipboard and coated or laminated boards. Choose them when a standard Forstner bit for natural wood is not sufficient and you need a tool for more demanding material.
When to choose a TCT boring bit
The carbide-tipped design makes sense when working with very hard wood or board materials, where standard non-toothed or toothed Forstner bits wear more quickly. It is suitable for precise carpentry and furniture drilling, for example when producing or assembling components made from laminate and similar boards.
