Pozidriv (PZ/PZD) Bits
Pozidriv (PZ/PZD) bits are cross-head screwdriver bits for screws with a Pozidriv recess. You can recognise them by the main cross supplemented by a narrower, less pronounced secondary cross between the arms; this distinguishes them from standard Phillips (PH) bits.
When to choose a Pozidriv bit
Choose a PZ bit when the screw head matches a Pozidriv recess. This design helps distribute force more effectively onto the screw, but only if you use the correct bit type and size, for example PZ 0, PZ 1, PZ 2, PZ 3 or PZ 4.

Are you confusing Pozidriv with Phillips?
If the screw has a simple cross without additional ribs, it requires a Phillips (PH) bit. If there is a finer additional cross between the arms of the main cross, use Pozidriv.
