To increase tool performance when drilling and machining different materials, we offer lubricating greases, cutting oils and pastes that reduce friction, improve cooling and significantly extend tool life.

Available lubricants and cutting fluids

• VARIANT lubricating grease – Plastic grease for threaded connections and clamping parts of the VARIANT system as well as for SDS-plus/SDS-max chisels and drill bits. Prevents seizing, reduces friction, improves sliding properties and protects against corrosion. Water- and heat-resistant.
• Cutting oil – Concentrated oil with molybdenum; forms a protective molybdenum sulphide film (MsS) that reduces friction and overheating and improves machining quality. Ideal for machining tough and stainless steels, milling, thread cutting, drawing and gear production.
• Cutting and drilling oil spray – Professional spray for drilling, thread cutting, milling and sawing. Suitable for steel, cast iron, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminium. Mineral-oil-free and fully biodegradable. Reduces wear and improves the working result.
• Cutting paste – High-performance paste for manual and machine thread cutting and drilling in metals. Reduces friction, improves thread quality and extends tool life. Suitable for stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. Easy to wash off with water after use.
• Cooling wax – Developed for dry drilling with diamond hole saws. Reduces tool temperature, minimises wear and dust formation and thereby increases safety and efficiency during drilling.
