Forstner bits DIN 7483G

The Forstner bits have a pilot point for exact positioning with two main cutters and two peripheral cutters for a splinter free cut.

Design:

• The tool is made out of alloy tool steel
• The forstner bit is equipped with a pilot bit ensuring precise drilling, two circumferential cutting edges and two main cutting edges
• Round shank
• Offered up to a diameter of 50 mm - larger diameters are offered with teeth (ordering No. 4212)

Use:

• drilling precise and clean holes, not too deep in the wood
• Drilling holes for countersinking furniture fittings

Used in: hard wood, soft wood

Packed in: tubes for hanging

Note: for extremely hard wood such as glued laminated boards or plastic coated materials, we recommend the machine cylinder boring bit with pilot bit and carbide cutters (ordering No. 4231)
