Thread repair kits

A new product category has been added to our range – thread repair kits.

As the name suggests, these kits provide a fast and reliable solution for repairing damaged or stripped threads without changing the original thread size.

How the kits are designed

Each kit is intended for a specific thread size.

• Kits up to M12 (inclusive) include a complete solution:
  • drill bit
  • tap
  • insertion tool for thread inserts
  • tang break tool
  • thread inserts
• Kits above M12 do not include a drill bit.
  This is due to a practical limitation – larger drill bits often do not fit into standard 13 mm chucks, so the appropriate tool holding must be selected based on your application.

For these kits, you will always find the recommended drill size in the product description, which needs to be selected separately.

Multiple sizes in one kit

The range also includes a 130-piece kit covering the most commonly used metric thread sizes:

• M5 × 0.8
• M6 × 1.0
• M8 × 1.25
• M10 × 1.5
• M12 × 1.75

Like the kits up to M12, this set contains everything needed for thread repair.
