Cobalt countersinks with transverse hole

Application: especially suitable for materials forming a long chip, for deburring a hole, for excavating a space for countersinking the screw head

Design:

• 90 ° angle
• head with transverse hole
• cylindrical shank
• cobalt (HSS-Co. 5%)

Advantages:

• It removes the chip out of the drilled material and creates an absolutely clean edge of the recess.
• Compared to HSS countersinks, it has higher heat resistance and higher hardness.

Used in: steel, cast iron, non-ferrous and light metals, V2A and V4A stainless steel, steels with strength up to 1200 N / mm2.

Recommendation: use cutting paste or threading oil when working.
